PANEL: ETF Share Class: The Future of Fund Structuring?

Josh joined ICI in 2022 and is Associate General Counsel for Securities Regulation. Immediately prior to joining ICI, Josh was Senior Special Counsel (Fellow) in the Division of Investment Management at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Josh served as the Chief Legal Officer for U.S. Mutual Funds and ETFs at State Street Global Advisors, where he was Managing Director and Managing Counsel until 2019. He began his career as an associate in the Financial Services Group at Dechert LLP.  Josh received his B.S. cum laude from Tufts University and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Science & Technology Law.

Josh is currently a Lecturer at the Boston University School of Law Graduate Program in Banking and Financial Law. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Mystic River Watershed Association, a non-profit organization that uses science, advocacy and education to ensure a vibrant, healthy and resilient environment.
