Connor’s background spans two decades of investing and operating, first as a growth equity investor at Summit Partners, then as an early employee of investing technology platform Tamarac (acquired by Envestnet) and most recently as a long/short investor at Citadel, Point72, and now Friesian Capital LP ("FrC"), the hedge fund he founded in 2023 to deliver superior absolute returns with controlled risk on fair terms. All of these experiences shaped his investing worldview: (1) playing without an edge in the markets destroys value over time, (2) compelling edges arise reliably but infrequently, and (3) a career that spans multiple disciplines and market cycles fosters differentiated thinking that’s particularly useful in investing. Connor holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD-MBA from Northwestern University.
