Aidan O’Hara is Managing Director, Investment Research and Institutional Sales at Pacer Advisors. In his role, Aidan is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the ETF Research and Firm Model Portfolio Management teams at Pacer’s partner firms, producing investment research, working with third-party strategists, and developing and maintaining relationships with institutional allocators.
Aidan started his career as an analyst at Volkswagen Group of America’s North American Headquarters, where he was responsible for incentives and volume planning for the North American Region. He worked on a lean team where he was responsible for the strategic allocation of Volkswagen Group of America’s entire $1.4 Billion annual incentives spending budget. On a monthly basis, he helped develop the firms go-to-market strategy, with the goal of increasing sales and profits for the firm. He was also responsible for accounting reconciliation of the incentives budget.
Aidan started his financial services career at Pacer Financial, Inc. in November 2018. After a brief stint as a wholesaler, Aidan joined Pacer’s PM team to deepen the firms relationships by working with the ETF Research and Model PM teams at Pacer’s partner firms around the country. In addition to those responsibilities, in his current role, Aidan also regularly produces investment research for Pacer’s clients, and is responsible for all of Pacer’s institutional efforts, after formally starting Pacer’s institutional channel in late 2022. He also acts as a key liaison between Pacer’s sales and PM teams, regularly performing the duties of a ‘Client Portfolio Manager’ for Pacer’s largest clients.
Aidan graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Economics. While there, Aidan was a member of ASU’s Varsity Men’s Swimming and Diving Team, and was twice named to the “Pac-12 All-Academic Men’s Swim Team.”
